Bill
Duncan is an original
antique cowboy. He was in the rodeo profession for 30
years. He was on the Board of Directors of the International
Rodeo Associateion for 8 years and served as President of the Oklahoma
Team Ropers Association for 9 years. He himself was a team roper,
winning many championships. Bill owned and operated a roping
arena in Allen, Oklahoma, which hosted the World Junior Team Roper's
Championship events for 16 years.
Along
with his two daughters,
he raised and sold show sheep and horses, traveling all over the U.S.
For
many years, this artist
restored and sold full-scale vintage carriages and wagons. He
later began to create, from his own designs and plans, model horse size
wagons, saddles, and tack. He has expanded his hobby to now
include model horse size vehicles of all types, in a wide range of
styles, which include western style to royalty designs, and everything
in between.
